TechRestore: Looking Back and Looking Forward

2019 – What a ride!!

It’s hard sometimes to believe that TechRestore has been in Louisville for over two years already. There are times we feel like we may bust the seams of our Hike’s Point Plaza storefront! We are so blessed with our “new regular” customers, walk-in repairs, schools we work with near and far, all the services we’ve added – a lot has happened in a short time.

iphone 6s 8 XS Plus2019 saw some particularly noteworthy changes. We dropped prices on dozens of repairs, grew our offerings for Education customers, added SNAP financing option for the ever growing inventory of refurbished Apple devices and we even succeeded in staying current and below market average cost on repairs for the newest iPhones (up to XS Max now!).

2019: The Bad and the Ugly

We’ve also seen some pretty terrible examples of how cruel people can be to one another. The fake iPad incident stands out, for sure, along with the increase in malware and this December, we’ve had a computer come in with ransomware! Luckily, we can help turn these around and the bad is far overshadowed by the good.

St Marthas Kickball teamWe’ve been so fortunate to participate in our community this year. At St. Martha’s Parrish in Louisville, we sponsored a Championship Kickball team! Our “First Responders On The First” posts on FaceBook have been a joy to celebrate each month (and to celebrate First Responders and Military EVERY DAY!).  The addition of financing, enhanced data recovery and our willingness to try just about any repair comes naturally because we are always looking for ways to make your experience the best it can be. Broken devices are nothing anyone looks forward to, but at least we can be there as your first (and sometimes last) stop.

2020: Looking ahead with YOU!

There are lots of BIG things in store for 2020! We never stop working to improve, tweak and increase our services to best support our customers. Without YOU there would be no US.

Customer-Service-Satisfaction

Even though we are always looking ahead, we also stay firmly planted in today. There’s nothing better than delivering more than expected. The smiles on the faces of our customers – heck, of ANYONE who walks in looking for answers! – make all the busy, sometimes overwhelming, worry and planning worth it. We sleep well at night knowing we’ve met our main objective: delivering experiences beyond expectation.

Yes, we’ll have some big announcements, plenty of specials and sales, lots of community involvement, more love for First Responders and Military and for each and every one of you. For now, we’ll say “Thank You!!” and we hope your reflections of 2019 and plans for 2020 fill you with joy and excitement!
