iPhone 4 Parts Update

Hey there!

Time to get a little EDU about iPhone 4 screen repair - just what you're looking for on a Friday afternoon, I know. We'll be brief, I promise.

First off, we hope you never break your iPhone 4 screen. Really. But, if you do, you want to know a couple of very important facts that will help you with getting it repaired - no matter who you choose to perform your repair, or if you want to do the repair yourself.

Here we go.

To properly repair a broken screen on the iPhone 4, you need to replace BOTH the LCD screen AND the glass digitizer (touch screen). Both the LCD and Digitizer are FUSED together at the factory. In your search for repair information, you will no doubt stumble across all kinds of cheap iPhone 4 "touch screen" and "LCD screens" for iPhone 4 being sold by themselves on eBay and other websites. Get ready for three important words: They are worthless. Don't waste your time and money on these parts - you will not be able to repair your iPhone 4 screen with them.

In short, you need a COMPLETE SCREEN ASSEMBLY that contains three parts: the LCD screen, the touch-screen Digitizer and the Frame that houses these together.

If you are wondering if you should replace your iPhone 4 screen yourself or have a repair company do it for you, watch the video below and then decide. Some people have no problem with this repair, others might want to run the other way. If you do decide to do the repair yourself, be sure to use our handy screw chart to keep track of the 26 different screws that need to be removed during repair.

Our current price for iPhone 4 screen replacement is $99 for the part itself or $139 for parts and installation by an Apple Certified Technician. Our turnaround time is 24-hours for most repairs and we include a 1-year warranty.

Now, back to your Friday....and, have a great weekend!

Comments:
iPhone 4 is too precious to me and I don't want to fix it myself. Don't know what will happen, if I do anything wrong. If my screen is broken, I will send it to you for fixing.
