The HTC Droid Incredible Disassembly Video

Hi there. It's been another groundbreaking week at TechRestore!

On Monday we posted our latest stop-motion take-apart video, this time featuring the hot new HTC Droid Incredible smartphone. Our video team spent the weekend doing the shoot and prepping the video for release on Tuesday. In the last 48 hours, we've seen just about 51,000 views and the video has been very well received. Here's some reports from around the web!

Engadget.com "What an amazing video. Much appreciated."

PCWorld.com: "Droid Incredible Receives Incredible Teardown"

Geek.com: "TechRestore...takes the idea of a “closer look” to the next level by offering a video showing the complete dis-assembly of the DROID Incredible."

Wired.com: "TechRestore..."cool stop-motion animation video"

CNetWorld: "Best dis-assembly video ever?"

GadgetVenue.com:
"TechRestore are getting a good name in the world of teardowns due to their different approach at presenting the details."

Take a look for yourself and let us know what you think!

Very cool video! The stop motion really shows how all the components fit together.

I am looking to use an android phone as an embedded controller. I want to remove as much of the phone as I can to save weight. Can you tell me if the phone will still function with its screen and battery disconnected? Power would be supplied through USB.

Thanks!
